Die Volkswagen AG will in ihrer neuen „Car.Software“-Einheit mit der Konzernverantwortung für die Software im Fahrzeug bis 2025 mehr als 5.000 Digital-Experten bündeln. Das Unternehmen plant deutlich mehr Software im Auto und für fahrzeugnahe Serviceleistungen selbst zu entwickeln und den Eigenanteil von heute unter 10 Prozent auf mindestens 60 Prozent bis 2025 zu erhöhen.
