Too funny not to mention: Recently and for the first time, the long anticipated Retro-Games Party, featuring 25 players, took place at the Dresden Office. The hardware ranged from the Atari 2600 (1982 model) to what today has to offer – played, and that goes without saying, on tube TV sets.
Here, not only original gaming arcade motherboards were plugged into modern monitors via adapters, but also historic consoles (Amiga 500, Amiga 1200, Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Neo Geo, Sega Megadrive, Sega Dreamcast and others) put in an appearance. And to make any nerd’s dream come true, an adequate buffet was set up offering chips, gummy bears, peanut doodles, pretzel sticks and beer. We will have this event again next year, so keep in touch.
