Valtech Mobility is a partner at the European 4.0 Transformation Center of the RWTH Aachen. The E4TC is a 4.0 factory and an addition to the campus of the technical university that develops prototypes for practical applications in Product-Lifecycle-Management, System Engineering, Enterprise-Ressource-Planning, Service-Lifecycle-Management and Internet-of-Things. RWTH Aachen pools university expertise in these fields and coordinates the collaboration between various renowned industry, software and research partners.
This is how the E4TC allows its members to realize overarching processes and solutions together. The production of the e-city vehicle e.GO Life, whose development the E4TC accompanied, is proof of concept. This is made possible through agile and digital processes in the entire company.
It speeds up its development and lowers investment barriers dramatically. The software manufacturer Valtech Mobility, a joint venture of the digital agency Valtech and Audi, has been developing digital solutions around the connected car for more than 20 years.
The company has always relied on agile processes and delivers series-ready solutions for customers such as Audi, VW, Skoda, Bentley, Lamborghini, e.GO Mobile, Seat or Porsche. In its partnership with the E4TC, Valtech Mobility contributes in the area of “User Cycle”. Andreas Petes, Managing Director of Valtech Mobility GmbH says: “We are very happy to be part of such an agile landscape and to be able to contribute to this innovative, forward-thinking consortium. At the same time, this partnership offers us the opportunity to learn from the expertise and processes of other buisnesses and trades.
