After we launched our company-wide sports initiative to promote exercise and networking with a running challenge in 2020, more and more activities have been added over the years due to the high level of interest shown by employees: In addition to jogging, we also offer cycling, inline skating, Nordic walking and walking. With each activity, employees diligently collect kilometers in teams and can interactively track their current position on a virtual map.
Since November 2023, we have been offering a new sport in our sports initiative, this time going vertical – with climbing, bouldering and pull-ups.

To visualize the progress, our team has built a new page on which the participants virtually climb Mount Everest with their registered meters. In just three weeks, this had already been climbed.

The kilometers can be easily entered via the company’s own “Valtech Mobility App” or via the intranet and can be done directly after climbing.
