This week, a group of ten people met for a Kubernetes Workshop and Hackathon in Dusseldorf. The colleagues already had some projects, further education and private projects under their belts – so there was a high concentration of Kubernetes know-how on site. Together, we first consolidated these chunks of knowledge, e.g. by setting up new clusters in AWS or making monitoring stacks available.

In the course of the workshop, deeper knowledge in pipelining, Custom Docker Registries or load balancing was deepened. Which not only was a lot of fun for the participants, but will also be used in upcoming projects. Because in a nutshell: Kubernetes is not only powerful and modular but things are happening at a rapid pace and it is well worth keeping up to speed.
