This report also states that by the age of six, girls stop associating brilliance with their gender and start avoiding activities that require a high level of intelligence.

Our colleagues at Valtech Sweden wondered what to do, and launched the ”Tech Girl” initiative in 2018. Together with Valtech we invite girls to learn the basics of coding with some of our developers.

We’re always looking to create a judgement free environment where these girls can see how coding is structured and ask the woman in our company questions about their career in tech.

By now we have reached almost 900 girls worldwide, and we are far from done.

These days are co-organized by our colleague Sophie. In her interview, she tells us more about the goal of this initiative and how the process works.

If your school is interested in organizing a Tech_Girl day with us, please contact
