By 2025, Volkswagen AG wants to pool more than 5,000 digital experts in its new “Car.Software” division, which the Group has given responsibility for in-car software.

The company plans to significantly increase its own in-house car software and closely associated service developments to push its share from today’s 10 percent to at least 60 percent by 2025.
