Porsche, together with Apple Music, has implemented a completely integrated music streaming function for the Taycan. Valtech Mobility has been an integral part of the development of the car app. In a team that was agile and mixed (Apple and Porsche), everybody collaborated on the realization of the functionality. This included the simple linking of a user’s Apple Account with the Porsche ID (displayed in the car’s UI) via a QR code, browsing Apple music library content and streaming titles and radio stations. Deep integration allows functionalities that have been impossible before, such as adding titles played on FM radio onto the respective Apple Music library or playing back playlists that were inspired by FM radio titles.
