The smart insurance product “DriveSage” from MOTER Technologies analyzes users' driving behavior, enabling dynamic insurance rates. Based on the “pay-how-you-drive” principle, cautious drivers benefit from more favorable conditions.

Our role
Valtech Mobility was responsible for the conceptual design of all screens, including registration, consent management, and vehicle linking. Valtech Mobility was also responsible for branding (including the development of the DriveSagelogo), prototyping, icon sets, information architecture, and user experience. One of the highlights is the instrument cluster, which takes cultural differences in user perception into account.
Simulation in Unreal Engine
For the IAA Showcase, typical risk factors—such as insufficient safety distance, abrupt braking, or dynamic cornering behavior—were simulated using Unreal Engine. In the 3D environment, 2D widgets were used to display the UI elements.
