The Experience Innovation Company takes 17th place in this year’s Automobilwoche ranking, three places higher than last year.
Düsseldorf, 25 June 2024 — Valtech, the Experience Innovation Company, has taken 17th place in this year’s Automobilwoche ranking of the top IT service providers. The company’s ranking this year is three spots higher than last year. Domestic turnover with projects from the automotive industry increased by 14 percent to €85.7 million compared to 2022.
Valtech’s growth can be attributed to both the changing needs of OEM customers and the fact that automotive manufacturers need to reinvent themselves in order to remain competitive. The trend toward software-defined vehicles is contributing to the fact that OEMs must evolve from pure vehicle manufacturers to providers of digital mobility solutions, and that the customer journey goes far beyond the actual purchase.
Today’s customers expect their vehicles to be more than just a means of transport. They want seamless integration of their digital ecosystems into the vehicle itself, customizable interior experiences and much more.
These changes, alongside changing purchasing behaviors of customers, have an impact on the distribution system of OEMs, which are now increasingly focusing on direct-to-consumer sales.
