Valtech Mobility was an integral part of the development of the vehicle app for the integration of Apple Music.
An agile mixed team (with Apple and Porsche) worked together to implement the functionalities. These include the simple linking of the Apple account with the Porsche ID via a QR code (displayed in the vehicle UI), browsing content from the Apple music library and streaming tracks and radio stations.
Thanks to the deep integration, functionalities are possible that were previously not feasible, e.g. adding tracks played on FM radio to the respective Apple Music library or playing a playlist inspired by FM radio tracks.
