- You sharpen questions and use cases

- You find the most suitable analysis tools, be it machine learning or “classic” statistics, and apply them.

- Together with our data engineers you construct robust data pipelines to put your results to productive use.
You analyze freely and creatively, but your work results in code that has been built and tested according to all rules of software engineering.

As ideal applicant, you bring along
- Degree in computer science or a similar field
- Passion for scalable systems and data analysis
- Experience with Python, Scala or Java, as well as with Hadoop and/or cloud environments
- Experience in developing data architectures and data analytics
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in a data environment
- Basic understanding of data science and machine learning
- Enjoy working closely and constructively with customers
- Fluency or communication skills in written and spoken English, German language skills an advantage
- Willingness to travel

How to apply
Step 1
The first interview is all about getting to know each other. You will have the opportunity to learn all there is about Valtech Mobility. Since we place a high value on a good work atmosphere in our teams, we will use this talk to find out if the chemistry is right between us.
Step 2
If that is the case, a second interview will follow soon after where we want to do some practical work with you. Here, an exercise should give us some insight into the way you work. At the same time you will have the chance to meet some of your potential colleagues. So it is not a test situation but a look at the daily life in a Valtech Mobility team.
Step 3
Should this second talk reaffirm our mutual interest, we will send you an offer – and would be happy if you accepted it!
Valtech Mobility is an automotive software company for digital solutions around the connected vehicle.
The joint venture between the digital agency Valtech and Volkswagen Group was founded in 2018. The core topics are connected platforms, electromobility and data analysis. Around 400 employees work at the company's headquarters in Munich and at other locations in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Dresden, Ingolstadt, Brunswick, Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan.
